Iron Wood Tree Line

In order to save the horses in the pasture from damaged barbwire, we removed limbs from the Iron Wood tree’s that were going to break or breaking. Going in with our machines, mulchers, chainsaws and hands, we were able to remove the dangers, mulch what we could, and stack the largest pieces (trunks) in a pile for a potential mushroom growing project. Turns out it was a really good thing that we cut into them, because a lot of them were rotted, even some trunks that after consideration with the property owner, we removed for safety reasons.

Not to mention the horses liked the carrot snacks we would bring them everyday.
